Colour Run – Plettenberg Bay – 30 December
With new sponsor, Capitec Bank on board, the colour run has been given some rejuvenation with this year’s edition happening in one of the most charismatic towns in South Africa. With vouchers being given to all runners from Takealot and Suberbalist, this years Colour Run in Plett promises to be one of the most fun and exciting in SA, capping off the year with a bang of colour!

Southern Comfort Knysna Blues Festival – 19 December
Knysna plays host to some of the most talented blues musicians this December with the Southern Comfort Knysna Blues Festival. Kicking off at 12pm on December 19th, the festival will play host to 8 incredible musical minds, including Crimson House Blues and Rapid Auto Fire.
Taking place at Mitchells Brewery, the festival proves to be the highlight of the Knysna social calendar and not a moment too soon, with the batteries running low at the end of the year, a good dose of jazz.

Get Lucky Summer – Plettenberg Bay – December
Having kicked off already, and running until January 10th, the Get Lucky Summer series is the place to be this festive season. Taking place every Sunday, on the lawns of the Beacon Island Hotel in Plettenberg Bay, the concert series plays host to some of the top bands and musicians in South Africa.
Top SA band, Goodluck, will play each Sunday, accompanied by different acts each week. Book tickets through Webtickets or check the Facebook page for details.
Knysna Rotary Splash – Knysna – 19 & 20 December
Another great event happening in Knysna this coming weekend, The Knysna Rotary SPLASH, will see some great water based activities for all to enjoy. 
From the lagoon swim, to the SPLASH Quack Attack which sees thousands of yellow rubber ducks pitted against one another, there is something for everyone.

Knysna Yacht Club New Years Party – Knysna – 31 December
For those wanting a New Years on the water, the Knysna Yacht Club is hosting a fun New Year’s party on December 31st. The yacht club will be providing fires for a Bring and Braai, or if you would prefer something more relaxed, bring your own picnic and enjoy the scenery and the music provided by the performing DJ.
Tickets are R50 a person and are available at the Knysna Yacht Club bar.
