Visit the Knysna Elephant Park
Established in 1994, the Knysna Elephant park was the first facility in South Africa to care for orphaned African Elephants. There are nine elephants in the current herd, but the park itself has raised over forty elephants in the twenty years it’s been operational. The elephants in the park include rescues, orphaned calves and relocated elephants. The Knysna Elephant Park offers tours, elephant back rides and a chance to interaction in an educational way with these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.
