A short walk from the picnic site is a cool rock pool where you can swim and cool off. Braai and toilet facilities are also available and Sanparks permit fees apply, unless you have a Wild Card. The picnic site is accessible by car or by hiking trail.

Knysna boasts two beautiful Blue Flag status beaches- Brenton on Sea and Buffalo Bay. At Buffalo Bay you can swim in safety, as lifeguards are on duty in season. Bring your beach blankets, swimsuits and relax in a tropical paradise.
