Is the room rate per person or per night?
The room rate is per person sharing and differs slightly between low season and peak season. All rates can be seen here.
What is the difference between Standard and Luxury Rooms?
All rooms at Turbine feature comfortable king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms with a separate bath and shower. All have a flat screen TV, WiFi, mini bar and coffee station. The Luxury Rooms are more spacious than the Standards and offer beautiful views of the mountains and Knysna Heads.
Is breakfast included?
Our room rates are inclusive of bed and breakfast. Breakfast can be enjoyed at the Island Café.

Turbine Boutique Hotel is located on Thesen Island – an award-winning marina development located in the Knysna Estuary. Thesen Island is linked by a causeway and bridge to the mainland, within walking distance of the waterfront and town centre.
How do I get to Thesen Island?
Thesen Island is linked to the mainland via a bridge and causeway. Turn off of Knysna Main Street into Waterfront Drive and then onto Long Street, which will take you along the causeway to Thesen Island.
Does Turbine Hotel have meeting facilities?
The hotel has 2 state of the art conference rooms which seat between 20 and 40 people. The venues can be seen here.
