Riviersonderend is a snapshot of small town life in South Africa with a number of places to pick up delicious meat, biltong and relishes. Make sure to stop at the Ou Meul Bakkery for one of their famous pies, and peek into their gift shop for one-of-a-kind souvenirs.

A picturesque Garden Route scene, the misty Wilderness beach is one of the countries finest. Take a walk along the white sand and feel the salty air on your skin. For those feeling adventurous, opt for a walk across the abandoned train track suspended above the river mouth for some jaw dropping views.
