Bontebok National Park
A rest stop is an essential for a Cape Town Knysna roadtrip. Stop to stretch your legs at the Bontebok National Park and take in the calming beauty of the Breede River. If you’ve packed a picnic for lunch, this is a good time to unpack and relax!
Wilderness Beach
A picturesque Garden Route scene, the misty Wilderness beach is one of the countries finest. Take a walk along the white sand and feel the salty air on your skin. For those feeling adventurous, opt for a walk across the abandoned train track suspended above the river mouth for some jaw dropping views.

The sleepy town of Sedgefield is ideal for a browse through once-loved goods. From cars and ornaments, to furniture and clothes, if you’ve got a knack at finding treasure amongst the junk – this stop is for you! Sedgefield is also only 25 minutes from Knysna, so once you’re done searching for something special, you can make your way to this unique holiday destination.
