Knysna Blues Festival – 19 Dec 2020
The 6th annual Knysna Blues Festival will take place on Saturday, 19 December 2020 at the Blend Country Restaurant. A much-anticipated event on the Knysna social calendar, the festival features live performances from some of the country’s top blues and blues-inspired musicians. Look forward to acts such as The Blues Broers, Basson Laubscher & The Violent Fee Peace, Michael Canfield, Andra, Georgetown and BlackWaterSA.

Christmas Market at the Farm – 20 Dec 2020
There’s nothing more festive than a Christmas market filled with locally made crafts, delicious food, trendy clothing stores and plenty of holiday cheer to go around. Not only is the Christmas market the perfect place to get last-minute gifts but it’s also a great place to meet up with friends and family to celebrate the joy of the season. The venue this year is once again The Farm Craft Market Knysna.

Christmas Day Lunch at the Island Café – 25 Dec 2020
Opt OUT of spending hours slaving away in the kitchen preparing countless dishes at home and opt IN to Christmas lunch at the Island Café on Thesen Islands. The Island Café can be found in the quirky Turbine Hotel & Spa, with stunning views over the Thesen canals. On the menu this year are dishes such as prawn and avocado cocktail, roasted maple butter glazed turkey, braised lamb shoulder, and a trio of Chrismas desserts. Local singer “KeeZee” will be providing the musical backdrop for the day. The restaurant is also hosting Christmas Day Dinner with a similar menu, and Christmas Eve Dinner with options such as flame-grilled ribeye, mussel and corn chowder and pan-seared linefish. The Parlotones Live – 27 Dec 2020
With more than 2 million album sales across the world, The Parlotones are one of South Africa’s biggest musical acts. Make your way to the Blend Country Restaurant to enjoy the Indie Rock band live on Sunday, 27 December 2020! New Year’s Eve Dinner Party at the Island Café – 31 Dec 2020
Say farewell to craziness that has been 2020 and celebrate life to it’s fullest with an indulgent New Year’s Eve dinner part on Thesen Island. A hit with locals each year, this year’s 4-course culinary affair includes dishes such as an oyster and blood mary canape, sea water cured linefish, marinated prawn and courgette kebab and cardamon spice panna cotta. The dress code is smart casual, the price includes a welcome drink and there will be live music by Tanja Storm and her band.
