The Knysna Oyster Festival is almost upon us! Taking place from 9 – 18 July 2021, it is a highlight on the social calendar for residents and local visitors alike. Happy Hour & Live Music at Gastro Pub
Every Friday, the Gastro Pub on Thesen Island hosts Happy Hour with live music. Between 17h30 and 19h30 enjoy buy 1 get 1 FREE on craft beer draught, gin on tap & house wine. On Friday 9 July 2021 Dave McMillan will be performing and on Friday 16 July 2021 Marlene & Valdi Jazz Band will be performing.

Pop Up Outdoor Shopping Experience

Classic VW Beetle Showcase
Car-lovers will delight at the incredible section of classic VW Beetles on show at the Scarab Village in Sedgefield on Saturday 10 July 2021. Coupled with the Wild Oats Community Farmers’ Market, it’s a morning of fun not to be missed for motor-heads and families alike.

Moonlight Meander
The fun doesn’t have to stop when the sun sets. Get up-close-and-personal with the nocturnal life of Swartvlei Beach under a spectacular sky of stars. Beginning at the parking area, attendees will stroll towards Gericke’s Point, meeting the amazing and fascinating wildlife and marine life onshore and in the rock pools. Make sure to bring along a torch that will last at least 3 hours and shoes you don’t mind getting wet.

Knysna Oyster Festival Heritage Route
Learn all about the rich history of Knysna with a guided walk through an array of historical buildings, the famous Old Gaol Museum and the fascinating Millwood House Museum. The tour will be rounded-off with a stop at the Art Cafe for a coffee and a delicious slice of cake.

Alvis Drift Bubbly & Oysters Pairing
