At the ‘Heads’

The highlight of any trip to Knysna is a trip to the viewpoint at the famous Knysna Heads. If you’re new to the area, the ‘Heads’ are two large sandstone columns that stand side by side at the mouth of the Knysna Lagoon, where the Knysna River meets the Indian Ocean. On the eastern side, on Coney Glen Road, overlooking the narrow channel where the sea bursts through is a secluded viewpoint. The awe-inspiring vista offers an idyllic setting for your big moment.
