Practically a neighbour to our hotel, Île de Païn is a local institution.

For the serious coffee aficionado, Snobs Coffee Knysna is a must-visit. Tucked into Knysna’s industrial quarter at Oaks On Main, this roastery is all about the bean. They roast their own small batches, and you can taste the love in every cup.
While they don’t bake on-site, they stock pastries from local artisanal bakers; croissants included. The minimalist setting and the aroma of freshly ground beans make it an experience in itself!

In keeping with our promise to lead you to the promised land of coffee and croissants, Apollo Coffee, runs frequent specials that combine the two. Recently, customers could purchase any coffee and pastry for just R55! Keep an eye on their socials for updates.
Otherwise, special or not, stopping by this quaint little spot is wonderful on a cold winter’s day. Housed in the Royal Hotel, you could easily while away some time over a strong cup of Joe while the weather does its worst!
