These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of The Turbine Hotel & Spa website and your booking and stay at our property. By accessing our website or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.
Website Use
By accessing and using www.turbinehotel.co.za, you agree to:
- Use the website for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Not transmit any harmful or malicious code
- Respect all intellectual property rights
- Provide accurate and current information when making bookings
Booking and Reservations
Making a Reservation
- All bookings are subject to availability
- A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking
- Confirmation of your booking will be sent via email
- It is your responsibility to check that all booking details are correct
Payment
- Full payment may be required at the time of booking or upon arrival
- Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer
- All rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed
- Additional charges may apply for extra services, minibar, room service, etc.
Deposits and Pre-Payment
Certain rates and special offers may require:
- A non-refundable deposit at the time of booking
- Full pre-payment of the accommodation
- Payment details will be specified during the booking process
Cancellation and Modification Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival: No charge
- Cancellations made 7-13 days before arrival: 50% of total booking value
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival: 100% of total booking value
- No-shows: 100% of total booking value
Special Rate Cancellations
Some promotional rates and packages may have different cancellation terms:
- Non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled or modified
- Specific terms will be clearly stated at the time of booking
- These terms take precedence over our standard policy
Peak Season and Events
During peak seasons (including but not limited to December/January, Easter, and public holidays) and special events, stricter cancellation policies may apply. These will be communicated at the time of booking.
Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in time: 2:00 PM
- Check-out time: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability
- Additional charges may apply for late check-out
- Valid photo identification and credit card are required at check-in
- The lead guest must be at least 18 years old
Guest Conduct and House Rules
All guests are expected to:
- Respect other guests and maintain reasonable noise levels
- Not smoke in non-designated areas (smoking is prohibited in all rooms)
- Not bring pets unless prior arrangement has been made
- Take responsibility for any damage caused to hotel property
- Comply with all safety and security procedures
- Not exceed the maximum occupancy of their room
The Turbine Hotel reserves the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave if these rules are not followed, without refund.
Spa Services
- Advance booking is required for all spa treatments
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
- Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged at 100% of the treatment value
- The spa is an adults-only facility (18+ years)
- Guests should inform therapists of any health conditions or allergies
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
Dining Services
- Restaurant reservations are recommended, especially during peak times
- Dress code: Smart casual for dinner service
- Special dietary requirements should be communicated in advance
- Menu items and prices are subject to change
- We reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated guests
Liability and Responsibility
Guest Property
The Turbine Hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal property, vehicles, or valuables. We recommend using the in-room safe for valuable items.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power failures, strikes, pandemics, or government regulations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your stay shall be limited to the total amount paid for your accommodation booking.
Special Offers and Packages
- All special offers are subject to availability
- Offers cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated
- Validity periods and blackout dates apply
- Terms and conditions specific to each offer will be provided
- The hotel reserves the right to modify or withdraw offers at any time
Privacy and Data Protection

Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of The Turbine Hotel or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use of any content is strictly prohibited.

- We are committed to resolving any problems promptly
